Give a gift
Not sure what to give someone for Christmas or their Birthday? How about making a donation to Shocking Pink on their behalf ? We’ll provide a certificate/thank you card so you have something tangible to give on the day. Please contact us for details at info@shockingpink.org.nz
In your will
One of the easiest ways to make a gift to Shocking Pink is by leaving Shocking Pink a bequest in your Will. There are three main ways you can do this. You can (1) give a specific amount of money to Shocking Pink (2) give a specific item of property to Shocking Pink; or (3) give a specified percentage of the residue of your estate to Shocking Pink (the residue of your estate is that which is left over after all specific gifts have been made, whether charitable or non-charitable). (This will all need to be arranged and approved directly with your lawyer).
Shocking Pink is registered in New Zealand as a non-profit organisation and is registered with the Charities Commission, and with the IRD as a donee organisation. Donations over $5 qualify for a tax credit.
